SaiRat OS : Deal Dosti Aur Pyaar | Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin | Neil Bhatt | Ayesha Singh

He watched silently, she was there standing with the others laughing about something Samrat had said to her. He wanted to be the one to make her laugh, he already did, but it wasn't the same. With him, it was as if she was holding back, it hurt him but he endured the pain as long as he got to be with her, around her. A hand came and rested on his shoulder, turning his head slightly, he came face to face with his friend, Sunny. He was smiling at him understandingly, he knew already what Virat felt for his sali, and he found it cute, they were perfect for one another, now if only she would understand her own feelings too.

"Tell her Virat, its time she knew about your feelings" Sunny whispered to his friend, being careful of everyone else not listening to them. He was sure his friend didn't need to have them egging at him about these feelings of his.

"Bhai…how can I?" Virat asked, turning his head away, hanging it slightly. His messy hair fell over his forehead and shadowed his eyes.

Sunny placed his hand on his shoulder and turned him around so that they were facing one another. He stared at his friend with his brow raised, "Sing that song you wrote" he smiled at his friend's shocked expression. Virat nodded his head and watched as his friend went to stand next to his wife.

Sai laughed as Samrat teased Gungun, they were such a cute couple. She shook her head as Samrat stuck his tongue out at Gungun causing her to smack his shoulder before he pulled her in for a hug. She turned her eyes away and looked around, her sister and Sunny were whispering to each other making her curious and Tia was babbling about her latest dress to Shivaay who was half listening, mostly playing with her hand.

She turned her eyes on Virat who was standing there watching her with a smile, for some reason it wasn't like his usual smirk or that mischievous grin he always wore, this one was slightly solemn. Almost as if he was thinking about something important, she wondered what was making him be so…non-Virat like. Then to her surprise, he walked over to her and held out his hand for her to take, his smile gone and his face almost expressionless.

She allowed him to pull her in his arms and twirl her around, whispering in a husky voice, causing goose bumps to rise across her arms. His hands moved to take their place at her waist while hers locked around his neck. She stared into his eyes as he sang, his expressions nearly killing her, they were filled with such raw emotion that she felt her heart tremble at the sight of his eyes flashing passionately.

He twirled her out of his arms and moved away from her, shaking his head, his eyes filled with something she could only clarify as pain, raw pain. She wanted nothing more to move to him and take him in her arms, soothing the pain that had captured him so.

There's a new wind blowin' like I've never known

I'm breathin' deeper than I've ever done

And it sure feels good

To finally feel the way I do

Now I wanna love somebody, love somebody like you

The way he looked at her when he sang those lines caused her to stop breathing, was he really talking about her? Before she could look to see the answer in his eyes, he turned away from her. He tugged at his hair, ruffling it even more. Did he really wish he had never met her? She wondered, if that song was for her that is.

Virat sighed mentally, the past memories flying through his mind. The times they both spent playing pranks on their siblings and did those jokes in classes, making their teachers watch them warily, one of them was enough, but to have to handle them together was just another thing all together.

An' I'm lettin' go of all my lonely yesterdays

I've forgiven myself for the mistakes I've made

Now there's just one thing

The only thing I wanna do, mmhmm

I wanna love somebody, love somebody like you

Only he knew what he had felt the times he saw her with Roy, talking with them as if they were best friends. The fact that he had to watch her from afar, unable to touch her lovingly, or even hold her in his arms, whispering his love in her ear hurt more than anything he had experienced before. So many times he had tried to show his feelings, but she always confused them as his friendship, making him just want to tug her in his arms and kiss her to show her what he really felt. If only he could do that, he didn't want to lose her friendship, loving her from afar he could do, but not have even her friendship was not his wish.  But he couldn't do it anymore…he had to tell her, it was getting too much.

Yeah, I wanna feel the sunshine

Shinin' down on me and you

When you put your arms around me

You let me know there's nothing in this world I can't do

I used to run in circles goin' no where fast

I'd take a one step forward and a two steps back

I couldn't walk a straight line

Even if I wanted to

I wanna love somebody, love somebody like you

Whoa, here we go now

Woo! Yeah

Hey! I wanna love you baby

Uh huh

Turning back around to stare at her, he walked to her, holding her hands in his as he gazed into her eyes. He opened his mouth to confess, but closed it. He couldn't do it. She was looking at him with confused eyes, making him frown, she would never understand. She would just remain his friend…

He had waited for her to realize what he felt, but maybe they just weren't meant to be. She was obviously not going to return his feelings, if that confused pout was a sign. He had started singing this to tell her his feelings, but he couldn't get that through to her now could he? She could be so dumb at times that it shocked him.

Writing this song hadn't been a challenge, it was really easy to get his feelings, his anger, and his pain out on paper. But now that he was singing it…it seemed to have lost its power.

Oh, I wanna be around in the middle of the night

Shinin' like it's true

I wanna be the man that you run to, whenever I call on you

When everything that loved someone finally found it's way

Wanna be a better man

I see it in you yeah

Oh, yeah, yeah

Hey, I wanna love you baby

Oh, oh, yeah yeah

The others watched as he finished the song, his voice filled with the emotions that made them wonder about things. He turned to leave; he had said what he had wanted to, needed to. Now it was up to her to understand it, but who knows when that would be. Suddenly a tug on his hand made him stop, he looked back to see her watching him with wide eyes, she smiled at him.
