Bani could feel her heartbeat accelerating. Her encounter with Veer gave birth to some new feelings inside her. Her mind was filled with the thoughts of Veer.

 Veer, Veeranshu Singhaniya. The man who has been chasing her for two years. It all began at the graduation ceremony. Bani completed her MBA in finance and she was being facilitated as the topper of her college. Her excitement knew no level that day and that was the day where she met her awara majnu, Veeranshu Singhaniya. 

Arjun Singhaniya, the chairman of the college and a famous business man came with his whole family for the ceremony. Veeranshu had no interest in attending the ceremony but due to his father's wish,he came. There he saw Bani and there itself, his Boston's degree of MBA went down in drain and he became majnu for Bani.

Bani knew Veer's feelings for her but she chose to ignore those feelings. She was promised to Jay by her father. Jay was  working as an event manager and he earned well. Bani never loved Jay but she never hated him too. Jay was sweet, humble. A guy you would love to go on a date with,a guy whom your parents will like and a guy with whom you can spend your life peacefully. 

On the other hand, Veeranshu Singhaniya was a typical bad boy. A guy with whom you wanna stay away, a guy who might be involved in drug rackets or with some mafia. A guy who could be your deepest desire and darkest secret.

Bani showed no interest in Veer ever. She knew she was engaged to Jay and she would settle down with him only but last evening, Veer unraveled her deepest desires. 

Last evening,Bani's work was over and she went to meet Jay. Jay was in a five star hotel, making sure that the place was all set for the night. A party was being hosted and Jay was in charge for the preparations. Jay requested her to meet him and she couldn't say no to him. She went there and found her mouth in an O shape. 

"Bani", she turned to listen to her name and saw Jay there smiling at her.

"I see you liked the preparations."

Bani smiled at him and nodded.

"Don't worry. For our marriage,we will do much better preparations. Just the way you like. "

Bani blushed and excused herself. Jay nodded and went to see the preparations.

This was the thing Bani liked about Jay. He knew what she liked and what she didn't. He always does things according to her likes. Bani went inside the washroom which was situated in the farthest corner from the lawn where the party was being hosted. She could see her face flushed. Her life was blissful. She closed her eyes thanking her stars and when she opened her eyes she found Veer there, waving at her.

"Hey sweetheart."

She turned and shouted at him.

"What are you doing here?  You know this is private property. How did you come inside the ladies washroom? Don't you have manners?"

"Sshh.. calm down baby. Your blood pressure will rise. Then you will have to take medicines and I don't want my to be wife to eat medicines."

"Shut up! First of all I don't have issues with bp and how the hell you called me your wife. I am not your wife."

"Sweetheart, you are not but you will be. Not only my wife, my jaan, my love, my breath , mother of my kids, grandmother of kid's kids and it will go on."

"Were you in asylum or are you so talented to talk nonsense?"

Veer moved towards her and she took her steps backward. Her waist touched the sink and Veer placed his right arm on her waist as a barrier between her waist and the sink.

"Sweetheart",he said huskily, "I have many talents and I would love to show you."

"Move away. Don't forget Veeranshu Singhaniya. I am engaged. With Jay and what do you know about me. Nothing. Jay takes care of me and he knows what I like or not. You won't be able to claim me ever"

"I never claimed you as mine sweetheart. You have that right. I am claimed by you. Veeranshu Singhaniya is only Bani Sharma's. About your likes and dislikes, I never want to know about that. I will always ask you. I will never do anything beforehand without asking you because it's your right. "

"Bani Sharma. I am definitely not the one who fits in your ideal man checklist. I don't want to be that person in your life who knows everything about you. I want to be that person to whom you will share those things which you cannot even tell to yourself. I am just like your deepest darkest desire which you will embrace one day. Just like people succumb to their desires, you will be too sweetheart."

With that Veer pecked her lips and took two steps backward. Bani was in shock and for the whole two minutes,she didn't move even an inch of her body. Then she jolted towards Veer and slapped him. 

"Pervert. Badtameez. How dare you?"

"Sweetheart, tell me something new. I know what I am. By the way, why this reaction two minutes after I kissed you. Scratch that, after I touched my lips with yours. You know Sweetheart,you are just like me. Just accept it."

Bani hesitated but nevertheless she spoke, " I would never do that."

Pushing him aside,she went outside the washroom and immediately left the hotel not before dropping a message for Jay informing him about her being unwell. 

Throughout the night Veer's thoughts keep her awake and also she receives a message.

Awara Majnu.

She had saved  Veer's name as Awara Majnu. 

'You are in denial.'

She read.

"Hell with you Veeranshu Singhaniya",she muttered.

Around 4:00 am, Bani slept and she had a dream. She saw herself  on a deserted road running very fast shouting for someone.  Jay was calling her but his words felt deaf to her ears. She saw a black figure standing at the end of the road and she was running towards the dark figure. She was close to the dark figure when she again heard Jay's voice. This time she turned and saw Jay all white and light radiating from him. Then she turned towards the black figure and saw Veer there. His dark aura was calling her out. Closing her eyes she took a decision and engulfed herself in the darkness.

Bani opened her eyes and saw the time. 

7:00 am.

Her phone pinged and she checked her phone.

 1 Message from Awara Majnu.

She read.

'embrace what you are Sweetheart. 

Good morning!'

Bani closed her eyes and mumbled, "I think it's time to embrace what I am. I cannot live in denial for my entire life."
