He held her hands remaining turned towards to her side.

There was something in her eyes which raised his heart rate to an alarming levels instantaneously..

"Kabir.." Her airy voice, serene closeness almost numbed his pain.

As he kept looking bound in a wave of spell, she raised her hand to caress that light swelling near his eyebrows and the corner of his lips. He followed her trail along, with the corner of the eyes, only to stare back into her beautiful eyes as her hands cupped his chin in an adorable expression of care..

"Dard ho Raha hai?"

"Todasa.."

"Kal tak teek hojayega" she predicted hopefully with a glint of smile

"Hmm.."

He formed a word amidst his clouded senses..

If that was not enough, she moved much closer and wrapped one of her arms around him.. Kabir's eyes popped out..

First time he has been ever lying so close with her so much so that they can actually feel their bodies touching..

"Main aaj Raat aise hi sona chahthi hoon..agar tum uncomfortable feel kar raho..to Batado Kabir.." She raised her head intermittently to look into his eyes for a second, only to rest her head back on his chest after finding her answers in his eyes.

After his initial restlessness settled down, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and moved his legs slightly on her after thinking thrice.

Without even seeing her face, he knew she was smiling as she snuggled under him with comfort and warmth, slipping into a peaceful slumber.. while he was still trying to....!!!
