The jolt of pleasure grew in her belly till she could not think straight. Her body shivered as he groaned and buried his face in the crook of her neck before grasping her hair and bringing her mouth to his, harshly kissing her lips with the desperation that spoke of wants and needs she dared not dream of.
His fingers yanked at her blouse and unable to unbutton them, ripped them apart leaving her bare to his gaze. His dark eyes glittered with unknown emotion and he deftly swept in plopping one of the sensitive nubs into his mouth. She cried out and arched against him as his hand found the other nipple.
"Say it," he rasped out breathing heavily. "Say it Chandni!"
Her mind fogged with pleasure and she nearly cried when his hand slid through the slit of the petticoat and found her core with a familiar accuracy, stroking and rubbing her to ecstasy. He plunged a finger into her moist core and she jerked violently at the fire that ravaged her being; the volcano that swirled in her blood. Eyes rolling back she gave in, as always.
"I am y-yours. P-Please..."
An animalistic growl burst out of him as he pulled the petticoat up to her hips giving him better access to her. Without even the slightest amount of hesitation, he separated her thighs with his own leg and tilting her pelvis sank into her heat.
Her heat grasped him welcoming him into a dance only they knew. Gritting his teeth he withdrew slightly and plunged again and again as her head fell back limply and pleasure flooded her being. A soundless scream left her as something burst out of her triggering his own release for with another thrust he buried himself deep and shuddered as he came violently.
The violent pleasure racked at her frame as he lifted himself off her, lying on her side. His ragged breathing filled the air.
She slowly turned to look at him.
He was a magnificent man. All muscle and strength; his high cheekbones and strong jaw gave him an aristocratic look. His beard and dark hair added ruggedness to his profile that managed to ensnare anyone foolish enough to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
She knew it very well; after all, she had been one of them once.
He felt her gaze and turned to look at her.
His eyes were the same as always.
No matter how much they shared, no matter their intimacy; his eyes never lost the coldness that lived in them. Instead, a mocking gleam lit in his eyes as they ran over her naked form and his lips curved into a twisted smile.
"Ah... I wonder what Mahantaniji would say if she saw her pious daughter now."
Chandni answered it with a small smile of her own.
"She would say nothing but commend me for doing my wifely duties."
His smile fell as a sneer spread across his face. His eyes lit with hatred as he stared at the black and golden Mangalsutra on her otherwise bare neck and the red Sindoor that signified the truth of her words.
"It is your fault, you know," she said softly. "You should not have married me when you hated me so much.
His eyes turned mocking again. "Not marry you? But if I hadn't how would I get the opportunity to show you your place every day and night?"
Chandni gave a quiet look and turned to stare at the ceiling.
Taking her silence as his victory, he marched on determined to shred her dignity into pieces.
"How does it feel Chandni, to be married to the person who destroyed your family? How does it feel to completely belong to the person who destroyed everything you hold dear?"
Chandni felt something twisting her heart but no tear made its appearance. She had become used to his taunts long ago.
And no, while she couldn't become indifferent to his taunts, she had learned to hide her pain better.
"I hate to put an end to your unaccounted joy but you are wrong."
He stiffened and a hand slowly skimmed at her bare stomach.
"I am?" he asked sardonically as if he was humouring her.
"Yes.
He hummed as he grasped at her waist and brought her close dipping his head in the crook of her neck.
"Tell me," he murmured against her collar bone.
She took a deep breath unable to stop the tingles that ran down her body at his touch.
"I do not belong to you completely."
He froze stopping his ministrations. Immediately he lifted his head and pulled at her jaw to make her look at him.
"You are my wife, he spit out, something dark clouding his tone. "You belong to me. Your body belongs to me, your thoughts belong to me, your freedom belongs to me, your..."
"But not my love," she cut him off staring at the anger-ridden orbs that held her eyes.
His hand grasped her throat and his eyes if possible turned even colder.
"You are my husband and everything belongs to you but my heart," she said softly as she watched his face darken. "To the world, I am Chandni Advay Singh Raizada and legally I shall always belong to you but my heart will only belong to one person."
Her lips trembled as she uttered those words.
He fisted her hair and pulled at them roughly. Immediately tears of pain welled up in her eyes.
"You are a fool."
She gathered all the courage she had in her and stared up at him.
"I am no fool Professor Sahab, but you are. For no matter how much you hurt me, I will not break because my love gives me the strength to withstand every circumstance that might rise up to hurt me. You are a fool because no matter what, this Chandni belongs to her Dev."
It must have definitely been the strength of her love that she got the courage to speak out the words that had never come out till date but whatever it was; something in the air had changed.
Her words wiped out every emotion in his eyes as if a shutter has been placed to keep her from seeing what he felt.
And the next moment he grasped her hip tightly and a glint lit in his eyes.
"You love this Dev huh?" something ugly coloured his tone. "We shall see."
