 "Stupid, stupid and stupid", Abhi said while banging his head with the door. "How can I do it? Why did I say all those words to her? Why can't I think before opening my mouth? And now when I want to say sorry to her then she will not pick my call. Please Akshu give me a chance to explain", Abhi said while trying Akshu's number for the twentieth time. Again she didn't pick his call rather this time she cancelled his call.

 

Abhi threw his phone away on the bed. "I am so much screwed this time, what a mess I have created for myself. Wasn't it enough that I had a bad day at office that I have to deal with this now", said Abhi almost in an irritated voice.

 

Abhi's day had started with a headache and then the most important meeting for which he prepared for weeks got cancelled at last moment because his client's flight got delayed and he couldn't reach to attend the meeting on time. And if this was not enough the moment he entered home, he got a call from Akshu telling how bad day she had at her office. He didn't realize when he lost his temper and started talking very rudely with her. It was not until he heard her sobbing on phone that he realized that he had behaved like a total jerk today. He had almost blamed her for everything. And now when he realized his mistake she was not giving him a chance to even apologize. Something within him told him that he had really hurt her lot this time.

 

He closed his eyes and lay down on his bed with his hand on his head, thinking how he could forget that Akshu was his support system, no matter what she always by his side whenever he needed her. How should I tell you Akshu what you mean for me? You complete me. I should not have said all those harsh words to you, please give me a chance. There has to be a solution to this problem, thought Abhi. Then he remembered her, how could he forget about kaira, his best friend, girl who brought Akshu in his life. She will understand, god she got to understand. She will surely help me. There is no other way out.

 

He dialed her number and the bell started ringing. God kaira pick the damn phone, you are my last hope-Ok actually the only hope, thought Abhi. A sweet and sleepy girl's voice answered "hello", Abhi smiled listening to her voice. He knew after Akshu, kaira was the most important person in his life. She was the one who had helped him to strengthen his relationship with Akshu. He knew she will help him and that he could always rely on her. "Hi", said Abhi trying to be cAkshuful.

 

"Abhi, is that you?", asked the girl, he could imagine her sitting up with a start.

 

"Ya it's me. How are you sweetheart?", said Abhi.

 

"Abhi stop flirting! Tell me is everything ok? You sound a bit tense", asked kaira. He knew if anyone knew him well that was kaira, as they had been friends since high school days.

 

"Actually no. I had a fight with Akshu", said Abhi coming straight to the point.

 

"You jerk. I am damn sure it was your fault. Wasn't it?", Abhi felt a tinge of challenge in her voice.

 

"Well", he paused a bit "ok ya it was a bit but it was not my fault completely", Abhi smirked a bit knowing fully well that she knew would not believe him. Somehow talking to her, he felt as though his headache was disappearing.

 

"Really Abhi! Whom are you trying to explain? Tell me what actually happened and then let me decide who was at fault. Fair enough?", said kaira smiling a bit.

 

Abhi smiled at her bossy tone and then told her everything that happened that day including the fact that now Akshu was not taking his calls. "Now tell me what's the result of your fair judgment?", asked Abhi.

 

"Obviously you are at fault", answered kaira, while smiling.

 

Abhi knew that answer before hand, though kaira was his best friend but she never saw anything wrong in Akshu's doing.

 

"Now genius will you tell me how?", asked Abhi.

 

"Abhi usse kya sapne aayenge ki tumhara kitna bura din gaya hai. In fact you knew it, you could have told her so. Couldn't have you first hear her out patiently and then tell her about your day or the other way around. I am damn sure if she would have known what you have gone through she would have easily forgotten all about her problems and would have been by your side now. For once couldn't you understand her point of view, why do you always want her to forgive you for your childish behavior."

 

Abhi knew that whatever kaira said was right and therefore said giving up totally, "Ok I got it, I was wrong. Now will you help me to rectifying my mistake? Please don't let me down. You are the only one who could help me", Abhi said in his most sincere voice which he knew would work on her.

 

"Do I have any other choice? But promise me Abhi, you are NEVER going to hurt her again, only then I will help you", said kaira knowing fully well that Abhi would never lie to her.

 

"Ok promise. I will never hurt her again. Please somehow make her talk to me", said Abhi meaning every word he said from his heart.

 

"Theek hai I will, so do as I tell you", said kaira smiled at his childish tone and then she told Abhi about her plan to unite him with his love.

 

Next scene shifts to Akshu's house, where kaira is literally arguing with Akshu to accompany her to discoo.

 

"Oh common Akshu, no more arguments. You are coming with me and that's decided. Can't you do even this much for me", said kaira pouting cutely, knowing fully well that this would melt Akshu's heart.

 

Akshu smiled. She knew nobody can win from kaira when she has made up her mind. She had come to her home and when she came to came to know how Abhi had behaved with her and Akshu is distressed, she suggested her to accompany her to a nearby discoo just to change her mood. kaira was not only Abhi's best friend but also like Akshu's sister, so after trying to explain her that she was not in a mood to go there for sometime now, Akshu gave up completely and after one hour they entered disco.

 

kaira on the other hand had already called Abhi and got it confirmed from him that everything is set at the disco. Five minutes after entering disco, kaira pretended to take a call, leaving Akshu behind. This was the time Abhi had been waiting for. The peppy music that was playing was stopped in middle.

 

Abhi made an announcement, saying "this song is dedicated to the girl I love the most in this world. I want to tell her that I am sorry for the way I behaved with her today. Please forgive me. She has been always there for me. She means a lot to me. Without her I am incomplete. This song is only a way to tell her what she means to me."

 

Akshu heard this announcement, recognized the voice immediately, but could not see the owner of the voice. The lights were dimmed and spot light was focused on her. She did not how to react, and then music started playing but she still could'nt find Abhi.

 

And then she felt him and she turned around and sees him. He was right there behind her, wearing white shirt and blue jeans, looking very dashing. He took her breadth away and she almost forgot that she was angry from him.

 

He holds her hand and looks into her eyes & began to sing

He leaves a soft kiss on her hands and then looks in her eyes.

 

She jerks his hands away and turns to move away from him. But he holds her wrist and twirls her around a bit and then makes her hit his chest hard, facing him.

 

He holds her by waist tightly, as though he does not ever wants her to leave him. She keeps her hand on his chest to stabilize herself. He pushes her head towards him with his other hand.

 

She sees tears in his eyes. And Abhi through his eyes is trying to communicate how much he loves her and asking forgiveness for what he did.

 

He bends her a little and leaves a small kiss on her throat. With it he sees her closing her eyes and a tear escaping her eye.

 He straightens her up. He sees her opening her eyes and then picks her up in his arms and kisses her where that tear has landed on her cheek. And then he pressed her closed to him.

 

She pulls herself apart from his embrace and cups his face with her hand and kisses him on the other cheek, intending to say that no more tears now as she has forgiven him.

 

He brought her down but still does not leave her. He keeps his hands on her waist, pulling her closer to him. She too keeps both her hands around his neck, her forehead meeting his. And they keep on swinging in this pose with music in background.

 

When song finishes, he cups her face in his hand, he has tears in his eyes, and he said "I am sorry Akshu. I am very sorry that I had hurt you. I didn't mean any words that I had said to you today. You didn't deserve them at all. Please forgive me. I promise I would never hurt you again in my life janna. I would die without you. Sorry, please forgive me", said Abhi.

 

She removed his hands from her face and enclosing them in her hands, she said "I already had forgiven you. I promise to never leave you again. I am sorry for my behavior too. I love you." And then she placed her lips on his and gave him most tender kiss.

 

After the kiss, he hugged her tightly, and said "I love you too". Their bodies fitted into each other and were swinging to another romantic number which played in the disco. From a corner of his eye, Abhi saw kaira smiling at him from far and he thanked her from all his heart. She had again helped him, giving him a chance to get his love back.

 

She winked and nodded at him as she knew what exactly what he intended to tell her and left from there wishing them all the luck in the world.
